About the trade mission
Invest Northern Ireland is hosting a technology focused trade mission to Singapore in collaboration with Enterprise Ireland. We are pleased to let you know that NI Economy Minister, Conor Murphy and Peter Burke, Irish Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Employment will be joining us on this trade mission.
Why Singapore?
- Singapore is a strategic geographical location acting as a gateway to Asia Pacific
- It has a long-established infrastructure facilitating both global east-west and regional Southeast Asia trade routes
- The fourth-largest financial hub in the world, Singapore is home to several of the Top 500 multinational corporations' Asia-Pacific headquarters
The mission programme will be tailored specifically to the needs of the businesses attending but will focus on three key areas:
FinTech: An opportunity to exhibit on an Invest NI and Enterprise Ireland pavilion at Singapore Fintech Festival (6-8 November), the largest fintech event in the world, with 66,000 attendees from 150+ countries. Participation will offer companies an exceptional opportunity to meet potential buyers and to raise their profile in one of the world’s most significant financial services centres.
EdTech: The opportunity to attend EDUtech Asia (6-7 November), which welcomes 8,000+ educators and edtech providers from across the region to showcase technology solutions that will shape the future needs of education to key decision makers and influencers.
Technology: A tailored programme of export-led activity for technology led companies seeking to enter or grow their business in Singapore and the APAC region in line with their objectives.

Benefits of attending with Invest Northern Ireland
The trade mission offers unique opportunity to participate in a joint Ministerial trade mission, raising the profile of participating companies in Singapore and global export markets.
High-level wrap around activity will include:
- 1:1 and group meetings with prospective companies, partners, and stakeholders
- Business round tables and networking opportunities
- Promotion of participation via marketing & PR activity
- Advice and support from our in-market team
On successful completion of the mission, Invest NI will provide grant assistance of £850 towards flights and accommodation for up to two company representatives. Please note that if more than one colleague is attending an additional charge to participate of £250 will be added to the participation cost.
This is subject to the completion of a short evaluation questionnaire
Cost
Participation on the mission including an exhibitor presence at Singapore Fintech Festival is £1,500 + VAT
Participation on the mission including an exhibitor pass to either Singapore Fintech Festival or EDUtech Asia is £750+VAT
Please note that if more than one company representative attends the mission an additional charge of £250 will be added to the above costs to participate.
